We wanted to stay near the Vatican area... and just our luck was on our side, we were able to rent this apartment directly across the Vatican walls. The apartment was actually pretty big, clean and provided a view actually overlooking into the Vatican walls. The neighborhood had everything we needed. From caffes, to supermarkets, public transportation, and a great place for ice-cream (gelato) just under our building. We were very happy with this apartment!

This elegant luxury apartment in Campo di Fiori was unbelievable! It had a wonderful terrace where we had breakfast every morning! The neighborhood was full of locals as we stroll down the street which was a good thing as many tourists were not found. The best part, the colosseum was almost behind our apartment. We only regret one thing, we wished we had stayed longer.

The apartment Messalina is definately a great place to spend your vacation in Rome. Its high wooden beam ceilings combined with taste accommodation is a secret treasure in the most medieval era neighborhoods of Rome called Trastevere. We had a really good time as this place in an excellent location. We walked everywhere and found the location to reach other visited sites in no time.
